Sandra DeMers, Author of Cory's Story
Sandy was born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska; the daughter of an adventuresome airline pilot who also flew many missions on Mt. McKinley. She met and married her husband while living in Seattle, Washington, where she had completed her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Washington, double-majoring in French literature and Anthropology, which she eventually put to use by marrying an American Indian with a French surname. She further put her education to use by traveling to Paris to live for a year with a French family. When she returned to Seattle she worked as a receptionist in a law firm and eventually worked her way up to the position of senior paralegal. She loves to travel to sunny places where she can scuba dive with her husband and son, and go camping with her family in their motor home all over the beautiful State of Washington with the ever camping-loving Cory.
